Our story

The Story of Gensolekicks

There was a boy, born in a middle-class Indian home. His parents gave him everything they could — food, love, education. But like every middle-class dream, there were limits.

He remembers standing outside the school gate, watching other kids walk past him in shiny sneakers — Nike, Adidas, Puma. The shoes weren’t just shoes to him. They were symbols of pride, confidence, and belonging.

He looked down at his own slippers and felt that ache only a middle-class kid knows… the ache of wanting something so badly, but knowing it’s out of reach.
That night, he didn’t ask his father. Because he knew — his father already worked day and night, struggling to pay school fees. How could he ask for sneakers worth half a month’s salary?

So he stayed silent. He carried that silence for years. Every time he saw someone in branded shoes, he whispered to himself:
“One day… one day I’ll have them.”

But that pain never broke him. It became his purpose.

When he grew up, he built something for kids like him — kids who dream, who hustle, but don’t want their dreams crushed by a price tag.

That’s how Gensolekicks was born.

More than a store, it’s a promise.
A promise that no child, no teenager, no dreamer should ever feel “less” just because they can’t afford a logo.
A promise that luxury should not be the privilege of a few, but the confidence every dreamer deserves.

And above all, we believe in doing business the right way. That means fair pricing.

Every pair we bring is not just footwear — it’s the story of that boy who once stood outside the gate with broken shoes, dreaming.

Gensolekicks is for every dreamer who wants to walk with pride. Because dreams should never have a price tag.

We make things that work better and last longer.
